Through cultural diversity workshops, people are equipped with increased understanding about themselves and others. Diversity is a broad range of human differences which includes not just race and ethnicity, but also gender, age (generational diversity), educational levels, personality, communication styles, physical abilities, socio-economic status, religious beliefs, political beliefs and more. Basic differences can lead to “culture clash” and conflict in communication. Education is key to people recognizing their own and others’ styles. Workshop participants will leave with “talking and thinking” tools which are professionally and personally beneficial.
